Welcome!
The Wesleyan Methodist Church also known as the Independent Methodist Church's Independent Methodist Theological Seminary, its Jacobus Arminius Courses of Theological Study through Seminars, Study Days or Conferences and the local church based Wesleyan Methodist Church also known as the Independent Methodist Church's Bible Institutes, are all part of and connected to the World Conference of the Wesleyan Methodist Church also known as the Independent Methodist Church.
The Independent Methodist Theological Seminary is a religious educational facilitation of theological training for those who are considering a course of study towards becoming a potential missionary or ministers to go and plant new churches and missions or occupy already existing positions. It is a religious vocational education institution for the training program of Ministers for the pulpits and pastorates of the Wesleyan Methodist Church also known as the Independent Methodist Church. Its sole purpose is for those who need to pursue religious vocational education qualifications within the confines of a vocational calling into the licensed and ordained Christian ministry of the World Conference of the Wesleyan Methodist Church also known as the Independent Methodist Church. In order to enter the licensed and ordained Wesleyan Methodist Church or Independent Methodist Church Ministry, an individual would have had to complete a training program of study determined for them by the Church and Seminary. The Seminary is not open to the general public, nor are any of the courses offered to the public and it does not have an open door policy for students. This Seminary is exclusively for those within the courts of the Church and is in every sense a private religious vocational seminary for religious education. To study at the Independent Methodist Seminary a student must have been sponsored by a local World Conference Wesleyan Methodist Church or an Independent Methodist Church's Pastor and those in leadership and then gone through the process of having that sponsorship endorsed by the Seminary or through the Bible Institute and the Jacobus Arminus Courses of Theological Study program. This website is simply a testimony to the membership of our Churches as to the necessary training required for their locally sponsored students.
